The community of Currie sits in an amazing, historically important location just seven minutes from downtown. This one-of-a-kind community that was once an army base needed a way to revitalize their brand and generate excitement for the new developments that were now underway.
As Currie’s agency of record, Chatterson understood that one of the main challenges was finding a happy balance between promoting the visionary master plan to come and the current level of development, with a common misperception that nothing presently exists there.
Working to build momentum while illustrating how vibrant and beautiful the community is, Chatterson directed and shot a captivating new suite of photos. These photos were then used in conjunction with big, bold headlines to leave no doubt about the current status of the neighbourhood – that exciting developments are happening in Currie.
In addition to the external-facing advertising campaign, we needed to ensure the community itself looked alive and was easy to navigate. Chatterson created a strategic pathing and signage plan that led visitors where they needed to go no matter which direction they entered from, and provided a distinct sense of arrival driving into Currie.
Traffic and awareness was further brought to the community through planning and curating targeted events that served to not only showcase the community to prospective buyers but also engage current residents.
